Best bar in Ames hands down. Tequila bar is unique to the area. Bouncers are very kind and thorough with their ID checks to ensure no underage people enter. Bartenders created a drink catered to my preferences. Will definitely be returning every weekend!
Bouncer named pete, is breathtakingly good at checking ids. Theres not an ID in town he doesnt know how to check. One you make inside you are greated by some may say the most zealous man in Ames, Mullet Matt. Overall great vibes
Best game day bar in town! Fast bartenders, DJ Danny is awesome, they even have a patio bar! Oh also free popcorn and hotdogs. If you're in Ames you need to be at Cy's Roost!

Kaleb was a great host. He cleaned up our table soon and made us feel as if we were famil. He definitely was the life of the party and I hope to have him here the rest of my life fantastic customer service and friend.
CY's Roost is simply the best environment I've ever experienced inside a college bar atmosphere. The bouncer, Pete, is a kind soul and is always highly skilled at his job and is always in a happy mood when I see him. Two of the male bartenders, a tall ginger, and a very sexy young man with a mullet, always give me the best drink and shot recommendations and make me feel unique!
I've always had a good experience here. The back patio is a definite plus! Bartenders are quick and know their stuff; ask them for their favorite shot to make and you won't be disappointed.
